Sm Faysal Bellah has
been working as an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Department at Manarat
International University since 2013. Mr. Bellah completed his Bachelor of
Pharmacy Hon’s in 2006 from Life Science School, Pharmacy Discipline, Khulna
University, Khulna, Bangladesh with an outstanding result (CGPA 4.0 out of 4.0)
which earned him 1st place. He has also completed the Master of
Philosophy (M. Phil.) degree in 2014 in the Department of Clinical Pharmacy and
Pharmacology, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh. His
thesis work is entitled “CYP3A4 and CYP3A5 Genetic Polymorphisms and Risk of
Prostate Cancer”. He has been awarded Merit Scholarship both Bachelor of Pharmacy
Hon’s and Master of Philosophy (M. Phil.) degree. He has also been awarded a
prestigious scholarship from “The CAS-TWAS President’s Fellowship Programme” at the
University of Science and Technology of China, China for his Doctoral (PhD) program.
Before his joining MIU as a Lecturer; Mr. Bellah worked as a Senior
Quality Control Officer from 06 June 2007 to 22 April, 2013 in Beximco
Pharmaceuticals Ltd. (Track-II) one of best pharmaceutical companies in
Bangladesh. He also registered as an A-Grade Pharmacist by the Pharmacy Council
of Bangladesh. He is skilled in PCR machines, Alpha Innotech Imager, UPLC, GC,
HPLC, AAS, FTIR, Plume geometry and Spray Pattern Analyzer, and Delta Vision
Microscope. He has been doing research work in the fields of Clinical Pharmacy
and Pharmacology, Pharmacogenomics, and Cell Biology. He has 27 publications in
international peer-reviewed journals as a first and co-author.
