Dr.
Md Ahad Ali Khan obtained his Ph.D. in 2018 from Griffith Institute of Drug
Discovery, Griffith University, Australia. He was awarded Griffith University
Postgraduate Research Scholarships, GUIPRS, GUPRS, and NSC-PRS to accomplish his
Ph.D.
Dr.
Khan started his teaching career just after completing his Bachelor of Pharmacy
degree from Khulna University, Bangladesh in 2008. He has over five years of
teaching experience in Pharmacy. He supervised and co-supervised the research
of several B. Pharm project and M. Pharm thesis students. He is the main author
and co-author of 15 peer-reviewed papers published in international and
national scientific journals.
His
research focuses on Chemical and Biological investigation of Natural Products.
He has hands-on experience and expertise in chromatographic separation of secondary
metabolites from crude extracts by using TLC, LC, HPLC, and spectroscopic
structure determination by using NMR, MS, UV, and IR. He is also experienced in the virtual screening of drugs and molecular modeling of protein-drug
interactions.
He also worked as a reviewer for several international
journals including Indian Journal of Science and Technology, Journal of
Pharmaceutical Research International, Asian Journal of Biotechnology and
Genetic Engineering, Asian Science Bulletin, Asia Pacific International
Knowledge Press, and European Journal of Medicinal Plants.
