Career Summary

Muhammad Rakib Al Mamun is currently serving as Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy, Manarat International University.

Mr. Mamun successfully earned his B. Pharm(Hons) degree from the prestigious Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Dhaka. His M. Pharm (in Pharmaceutical Chemistry) degree is also from Dhaka University.

He has been engaged in Pharmacy Teaching for fourteen years, developing a strong base for future pharmacists to serve the nation in the health sector.

His teaching subjects include Pharmaceutical Chemistry courses, especially, Physical Pharmacy and Medicinal Chemistry

His students are now serving in all renowned pharmaceutical companies in Bangladesh, many are working abroad.

His research interest is in natural metabolites, extracted mostly from plants that have prominent biological effects.

He served as B. Pharm Program Coordinator for four years and as Head (In-charge) for one year in the Department of Pharmacy, Manarat International University.
